A-Data post 13% lower for Janurary 2010

A-Data Technology has announced revenues for January 2010 slid 13.97% sequentially to NT$3.69 billion (US$115 million), with sales from both DRAM modules and NAND flash devices dropping on month.

However, A-Data saw January revenues grow significantly compared to a year ago, when sales declined to NT$1.7 billion amid the global economic downturn.

A-Data said sales generated from DRAM modules were NT$1.9 billion in January, down 6.48% on month. Meanwhile, NAND flash products decreased 20.73% to NT$1.79 billion. The sales ratio between its DRAM and NAND flash product segments was around 52:48 for the month.
